Irish Shamrock Hat

Punch Art

Supplies Needed

1. Garden Green cardstock 3 byh 3"
2. Tab punch
3. Word window punch
4. Heart to Heart punch
5. 1 3/4 " circle punch
6. 5/8" Basic Black grosgrain ribbon 1 12"
7. Dazzling details
8. Olive glitter
9. Tooth pick
10. Short strip of Garden green cardstock for stem
11. Dotto Adhesive
12. Tombo Adhesive
13. Glue dots
14. Two way glue pen

  

Putting the Hat together

Step 1:

Punch out :  one tab puinch

                       one word window punch

                       3 of the smallest hearts of the Heart to \Heart punch

Step 2:

Using a "fishing pole" and dotto adhesive punch out a curve in the Word Label Punch.  Hint: a pencil mark indicating the middle of the punchie helps to center the curve. of the brow of the hat.

Step 3: 

Snip off one end of the tab punchie as shown

Attach the ribbon around the bottom of the tab

Attach the brow of the hat

Step 4:

Using a tooth pick, mix some dazzling details and olive glimmer to form a paste.

Apply to the top of each heart and allow to dry.

Step 5: 
Using glue dots attach the glittered hearts to the left top of the hat in the shape of a shamrock.  Sttach the stem using a 2 way glue pen.
Your hatis done.
