Dahlia Fold Birthday Card - Creative Sketches Color Challenge 47C

The color combination was a bit of a challenge, and I had to think about it for a couple of days.  But I knew I needed some birthday cards, so I ended up making this 3D card.

Stamp: Petite Pair, Vintage Vogue
Inks: Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler, Versa Mark
Papers: Peach Parfait, Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Peach Parfait designer paper (from paper stack)
Accessories: Stripes embossing folder, 1" circle punch, Scallop circle die #2, Scallop circle punch, metallic brads, pearls, handmade spritz (alcohol & frostwhite metallic paint), Stampin' Scoring tool, Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, 3/8" cherry cobbler Quilted Satin ribbon, 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, Beautiful wings die

For the butterfly, I took a piece of Whisper White card stock and randomly stamped images from Vintage Vogue stamp set in Basic Gray and Cherry Cobbler, then centered the image over the butterfly image on Beautiful wings and made the die cut.  The edges were sponged with Basic Gray, and pearls added to the middle of the body.

Here's a close up of the focal image.  The main image is a flower made using the Peach Parfait designer paper, a 1" circle punch and the Dahlia fold.
On top of the flower is a medallion
Topping that is a flower made using the Scallop circle punch.
Everything was spritzed.

The metallic brads were embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder
