Happy Birthday Surfer - Try Stamping on Tuesday & Challenge 125

The challenge with the LNS group this week relates to water - water, water, everywhere.  I used the sketch challenge with Try Stamping on Tuesday -here

Stamps: Extreme Surfer, The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Not Quite Navy, Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Rose Red, Basic Black
Papers: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Accessories: 3 1/2" circle die, Navy eyelets, twine, Word Label Punch, Modern Label Punch, Scallop Oval punch, Distressed Texturz plate, clear embossing powder

Baja Breeze layer: Images of the compass and the anchor were inked up with Not Quite Navy, stamped off , and then randomly stamped to create the background.

Main Image: The 3 1/2" whisper white circle was sponged first with Not Quite Navy (starting on the outside), followed by Marina Mist.  In the middle I sponged a bit of Daffodil Delight, and then Rose Red.  After stamping the image, the entire surface was covered with Versa Mark, and embossed with clear embossing powder

One of my favorite male cards that I have seen in some time!! Thanks for sharing! I've got to step out of my comfort zone and try some sponging techniques!
