Today I thought I'd made a little friend birthday card for the sketch challenge with Create with Connie and Mary here
For my card, I placed the sketch on its side.
The base card is Riding Hood Red, layered with Whisper White cardstock, and then Pool party Co' ordination cardstock embossed with the Honeycomb folder. A piece of striped designer paper from Storytime, was attached to the bottom 1/3 of the card, with a scalloped strip of So Saffron was placed over the seam. The sentiment, which was punched with the 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, was attached just below the So Saffron trim.
The image was stamped with Black Stazon and coloured with Watercolor crayons and an Aqua Painter, It was then die cut using the Ovals framelits. This oval was attached to the card at the middle left. Some dazzling details was applied to the little boy and his wagon.
Here's a summary of the materials used:
Stamp: Little Friends
Inks: Black Stazon, Watercolor crayons
Papers: Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Pool Party Co-ordination card stock, Storytime DSP, So Saffron
Accessories: Ovals framelits, 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, Scallop border punch, Aqua Painter, Dazzling Details
