Hummingbird Lattice card

I like using every scrap I have left over after making a card/ project and use them to create a new project. The following is an example of this.

For this 5 by 7” card, an oval was die cut in the center of the card front.  Actually I die cut 2 pieces of card stock at the same time. The second piece will be used to cover  up the work on the inside.

Some adhesive was added around the oval die cut on the inside. The strips of Basic White cardstock, which had previously be cut to a uniform size, were added one at a time to form the above lattice. When done the extra length was trimmed off.

I then added some Meandering Meadow DSP over the lattice after which I adhered the second die cut piece of card stock. This second one hides the glued ends etc.

The flowers and hummingbird, from      were added to the top and bottom corner using dimensionals. Each image was colored with Stampin' blends and die cut with the coordinating dies.

A sentiment will be added when I need the card for a specific occasion.
