Easel book card with box

I have made a number of easel book cards after Tina Zinck did a tutorial on you tube here .  Tina redid the calculations so the Easel book cards fit into an A2 envelope.

Today I tracked down the original designer, a demonstrator in the UK, called Sam Calcott with Mixed Up Crafts. Because her easel card was 5 by 7" rather than 4 1/4 by 5 1/2" I thought I would follow suit and create a 5 by 7" card.  After the card was finished, I made an envelope box using the envelope punch board using a tutorial again made by Sam Calcott.

The designer paper I used for this card was the Texture Chic designer paper on Pg. 134 of the Annual Catalogue along with gold foil. The Decorative Border stamp set was used to stamp the corner images.

Supplies & Dimensions:

Card Base: Blushing Bride -  7 by 10" scored at 5 and 7 1/2" to form an  easel card base.

On unscored card base   add:
.Rose Foil 6 3/4 by 4 3/4" mat with 6 1/2 by 4 1/2" DSP (foil dots)

Kick plate:
.Rose Foil 6 3/4 by 1 1/2"
.Basic White card stock 6 1/2 by 1 1/4".  Image from Decorative Borders stamp set was stamped on this strip and coloured with Stampin' Blends. Later 3D flowers were added to the center of this strip.
This was added to the card base , using dimensionals, about 3/4" from the edge of the card.

Book Part:
Note:  all corners are rounded.

Layer 1:
.Crumb Cake 7 by 5".  Scored in half at the 3 1/2" mark. This is adhered to card front flap above the 2 1/2" score line.

Layer 2:
Basic White 6 7/8 by 4 7/8" scored in half.

Layer 3:
DSP (foil dots) 6 3/4 by 4 3/4"

Layer 4:
Basic White card stock 6 1/2 by 4 1/2".  Image from Decorative Border stamp set stamped in opposite corners and coloured with Stampin' blends.
