It's early, but its coming - another Sale-a-bration event(SAB). A time when a purchase of $60 results in a choice of a gift from the SAB catalogue.
There are some beautiful free products that can be obtained with a purchase of $60, and the Dainty Flowers DSP is one of them. The paper is like a water colour work of art.
Because it is such beautiful paper, when I made this card, I let the paper speak for itself. I did a bit of blending with a blender brush at the bottom of the paper, but that is all I did.
Out of one piece of this 12 by 12" DSP I was able to cut 6 card fronts that re 4 by 6" each. One of the fronts is on the card in the picture above. The DSP was trimmed to a 3 3/4 by 5" in order to fit on the card.
Before I trimmed it, some Mossy Meadow ink was added to the lower 1/2 using a blender brush. This created a bit of interest and some dimension.
The 3 3/4 by 5" piece of DSP was matted with a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and then added to a Basic White card base.
The sentiment is from a new stamp from the new January to April 2023 mini catalogue "Something Fancy". It is stamped in Mossy Meadow, punched with the Double Oval Punch, and layered with the Scallop portion of the Oval punch. The two layers are joined together using dimensionals, and added over the trim on the right side using dimensionals.
To finish the card, I added some 2021-2022 In Color Opal Rounds randomly on the front and one brass butterfly.
Some DSP was adhered to the lid of the envelope which accompanies the card.
