Daffodil Daydream and Daffodil Afternoon - what a sneak peak combo and a video tutorial

Two days after Christmas and  I am focusing on products from the new Mini catalogue and SAB catalogue both of which go live on Jan. 4, 2022

One of the first stamp sets I got from the new Mini catalogue is the Daffodil Daydream stamp and die bundle. And from the SAB catalogue, coordinating with it I got the Daffodil Afternoon DSP - FREE

The number of dies were quite onerous, so I spent a little time familiarizing myself with them.   Check out the video below how I did that, and then went on to make a card using the daffodil die cuts.

You can view the video here or on You Tube here

Here is one of the cards I made for the video.  You can receive this card if you make a comment on the video.

The Thick Very Vanilla card base is layered first with some Daffodil Daybreak DSP and then a smaller piece of the reverse side of the same DSP.  The Daffodil DSP is a free SAB item.

The Scallop Contour die cut in Very Vanilla was used to build the flower on.  For the flower I die cut 4 leaves and 2 stems in Mossy Meadow, the flower petals and inner bud in Daffodil Delight and the accents of the petals, the outer bud and cut were die cut is Crushed Curry.  The cup itself was cut in Very Vanilla.

After layering the various parts of the Daffodil, they were added to the Scallop die cut, but not before adding some "dots" in Mossy Meadow for added interest.

This card has a sentiment on it, but on the video I did not put one on, instead tucking it on the inside.
