Ombre watercolor Background and the Detailed Floral Thinlets

I spent most of the day taking items out of the bathroom and the kitchen because I am having a new floor put down.  Both are small rooms, but it's amazing the amount of time that it took.  Plus I'm still working on the card making classes, getting samples ready.

Today I wanted to try a different technique, one that involves working with the new Ombre ink pads.  Patty Bennett , in a video, demonstrated a very easy (but a little messy) water colour technique using these ink pads.
After I created the backgrounds, they were used to made two cards, both of  which used the Delicate Floral framelits to create the front, and  were embellished with words and images from the Sunshine Wishes dies.
The first background is made with the Rich Razzelberry and the Bermuda Bay Ombre pads. It is layered with a piece of Whisper White the same size as the watercolor paper die cut with the Delicate Floral thinlet die.  I used 2 die cut images from the "Sunshine Wishes die" - "love" and the "heart shape", die cut with Bermuda Bay card stock.

The second  background is made with the Calypso Coral and Rich Razzelberry Ombre pads.  After layering it with a piece of Whisper White die cut card stock it was embellished with Rich Razzelberry die cuts from the Sunshine Wishes die.

Supplies Used:
Inks: Calypso Coral  ombre ink pad, Bermuda Bay ombre ink pad, Rich Razzelberry ombre ink pad.
Papers: Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzelberry, Whisper White, Water color paper
Accessories: Delicate Floral thinlet die, Sunshine Wishes die
