Ceramic Coffee Cup with Hand Made Flowers and a birthday card

I found this giant tea (coffee whatever beverage you prefer)cup in a local store, and used it as a receptacle for flowers left over from other projects..
The flowers were inserted into a large balloon which was inflated and covered with strips of retired DSP in mod podge and glue.  The paper was allowed to dry and then the balloon was deflated. This giant ball was perfect to insert the flowers into.  I had to use double sided tape to keep the ball stable in the cup.  In the picture below you can see a bit of the DSP ball and the tape.

I had 4 giant red poppies, 1 blue giant poppie and a large white(watermelon wishes) flower which was left over from my wreath.

The card was one of four I made for the card swap for my upcoming team meeting.

I wanted to use the new In Colors for the swap cards this month
I used the stamp set: You've Got This which was coloured with Flirtatious Flamingo ink and blender pen.  The center is Peekaboo Peach, the stem Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.
The flower was cut out, and adhered to a background stamped with Blue Denim (stamped off once).
On the left side is a strip of Playful Palette DSP with a piece of White Seambinding colored with Blue Denim marker adhered to the inner edge.
Wink of Stella (clear) glimmer brush was applied to the flower.

The sentiment if from "Cottage Greetings"  and adhered with dimensionals.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: You've Got This, Cottage Greetings
Inks:  Flirtatious Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow, Black Memento, Blue Denim markder
Papers: Flirtatious Flamingo, Whisper White, Playful Bunch DSP
Accessories White seam binding, aqua painter, dimensionals
