Sunburst Meets Botanical Blooms

This was one of my class projects for the night.  I decided to pair the Sunburst Thinlet with the Botanical Builder Blooms.  It was a lot of work at the Big Shot, but it was well worth it.

We started by Die cutting the Sunburst framelit using Hello Honey cardstock, after which the die cut was embossed with the Gently Falling Embossing Folder.
This embossed piece then was adhered to a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Botanical Blooms DSP, and the ends extending over the edge trimmed off.

The following were Die Cut: 1 large 3D flower in Pool Party, 2 smaller 3D flowers (one in Daffodil Delight, and one in Cajun Craze), two tiny flowers (one in Hello Honey and one in Cajun Craze).  Then the centers of the flowers:  2 large (one in Basic Black and one in Hello Honey) and one small one in Basic Black, two large leaves and two small leaves in Old Olive (sponge edges with Mossy Meadow ink).

The following were punched:  One each of  1 3/8" circle in Basic Black; 1 1/2" circle in Hello Honey; and a 1 1/4 " circle in Old Olive.  The Basic Black and Hello Honey were adhered together using dimensionals: the other two adhered to the card base and the circle below it.

The sentiment, from "Sunburst Sayings" was stamped using Black Memento onto Whisper White and die cut using a Banners framelit.

Assemble the flowers as shown and adhere to the card front.  Put some rhinestones in the flower centers as one must have bling!!

This card was a class hit!
