Cards made at First Team Meeting

I now have 2 downlines and we met for the first time as a group today.  We had a wonderful time, swapping cards and making "make and takes" all the things usually done at SU meetings.  I did have a few business things to discuss, and the feedback is that they want more of this.

Here are the cards made as "make and takes".  Most of these cards were inspired by those I saw on Pinterest.

Oh Hello, It's Spring
This was the favourite card to make, and it gave everyone a refresher on masking, and stamping using markers on stamps.  Stamp sets used:  "Honeycomb Happiness, In the Meadow, and in the inside "Perfect Pairing".  They both had a lesson on using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. and both were amazed on how easy it was to use.

You are Totally Awesome

Here the stamp set "Grateful Bunch" with its coordinating punch "Blossom Bunch Punch" was used.  The skirt was embossed with gold embossing powder, the leaf and stamp first stamped in Old Olive, and then coloured in using a blender pen.
Two sets of flowers were punched using the punch and Daffodil Delight cardstock.  Each flower was distressed and the petals curled up.  Then the petals were sponged with Crushed Curry ink.
At the top, 2 large, 1 medium and 1 small flower were adhered together with the petals alternating, and a neutral brad inserted in the middle.
At the bottom, a medium and small flower were adhered with a neutral brad.  Both were attached to the card front using tombo glue.

 Cup of flowers Card Topper

Card toppers are very popular right now.  A cup from the stamp set "A Nice Cuppa" was first stamped with Pool Party and then die cut using the" Cups and Kettle and framelits ".  Numerous flowers were stamped on white glitter cardstock using the "Petite Petals" stamp set, and punched out using the "Petite Petals Punch".  The flowers were arranged on top of the cup.  Colours of the flowers were focused on spring:  Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Blushing Bride, and one Crumb Cake.  Rhinestones were inserted in the center of each flower.
The sentiment is from "Happy Home", cut into a banner at one end and glued to the lower cup.
It is now ready to be attached to a card front.

I'm Here for You

Here the stamp set "Pedal Pushers" a SAB stamp set was stamped as if it were being held up by balloons.  These were punched out of various colours of card stock using the mini balloon punch.
The clouds were punched using the "Tree Builder Punch".  The bicycle was coloured using a blender pen.

Next meeting is in a month's time.
