3D Designer Paper Star - Stampin' Royalty #302

The challenge with Stampin' Royalty is the create something with stars, so I made a 3D Designer Paper Star.  I have made these stars previously and have a tutorial on how to make them on my tutorial blog

To see how I made the star check out the tutorial on my blog
After the two star halves were adhered together, the front and back of the star was decorated.
First a 1 3/4" scallop circle in Old Olive was adhered to the center, attached to which was a champagne glimmer snowflake die cut using the Snowflake die.  On top of that is a dazzling diamond glimmer snowflake punched with the new snowflake punch, and finally the Woodlands embellishment.
A hole was punched in the tip of one of the star arms using the 1/8" hand held punch.  Some gold trim was inserted through this hole to serve as hanging piece.  After trying a knot in the ends, I pulled the knot so that it was positioned just behind the punched hole and put a bit of hot glue on it to keep it in place.

Materials Used:
Papers: Merry Moments DSP, Old Olive cardstock, Champagne glimmer paper, Dazzling diamonds glimmer paper.
Accessories: 1 3/4" scallop circle punch, Snowflake #2 die (retired), Snowflake punch, Wonderland embellishment, 1/8" hand held punch, gold trim.
