Autumn Splendor - Trifold Card - Creative Sketches CS50A

The challenge this week with Creative Sketches  here  to take the sketch given and either create a Trifold card or 1/2 a scrapbook page.

I opted to make a Trifold Card.

I started with a piece of 5 by 12  More Mustard Card stock which was scored at 4 and 8" to form the Trifold card.

Stamps: Autumn Splendor, Lovely as a Tree, Seasonal Sentiments, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Old Olive, Cajun Craze, More Mustard inks and markers, Early Espresso marker
Papers: More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Autumn Spice designer paper, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip. Old Olive
Accessories: Dies:  Ovals #2, Circles #2, 3" Circle Scallop circle #2; Embossing folders: Vintage Wallpaper, Stripes, Square Lattice; Clear embossing powder; Punches:Word Window, 3/4" circle, 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, 1/4" Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Antique brad, Metallic brads, 3/8" Velvet stitched ribbon, Log Cabin smooch spritz

This is the card front.
The More Mustard base is matted with Old Olive, and then Very Vanilla embossed with the Stripes embossing folder.
The tree is from Lovely as a Tree.  It was coloured with markers directly on the stamp (Old Olive, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso)

The middle panel:
The More Mustard layer is now matted with Very Vanilla embossed with Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder sponged with Cajun Craze.
Three different colored leaves and a chestnut are arranged on a small square lattice embossed circle, which is matted on Autumn Spice Designer paper, and a 3" Chcolate chip circle.  A 1/4" Old Olive grosgrain ribbon bow and antique brad hold the leaves in a cluster.

The Last Panel:
The More Mustard card stock is now layered with Cajun Craze followed by a layer of Autumn Spice designer paper.
The Very Vanilla velvet stitched ribbon is folded across the top.

This card was inspired by a card made by Sage Kimble.
The leaves from the Autumn Splendor stamps were first stamped in the different colors of inks, then the surface covered with Versa Mark ink and clear embossing powder.  After setting with the heating tool, the leaves and acorns were cut out
After the card was complete I spritzed the card with Log Cabin smooch.  I think a little too much got on the card - I always have trouble with this particular color of smooch spritz.
