I'm finally getting some down time today. And, thanks to the rain, I don't have to be out in the garden watering my planters.
My visualized card for the challenge with Try Stampin on Tuesday here , in reality turned out to be totally different. I don't know if that has every happened to you - start out with a card in mind, but the finished product was totally different.
Here is how the card turned out:
Stamp: Happiness Shared
Inks: Image was colored with SU markers and Aqua painter (Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Always Artichoke) It was cut out and placed behind a lattice oval, which was inked with Crumb Cake and Basic Gray. Sentiment stamped with Basic Gray.
Papers: Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, Lap of Luxury Designer Paper
Accessories: Large Oval punch, small oval punch, 1 3/4 X 7/8" oval punch, Build a Brad,, rhinestones, dazzling diamonds, mat pack & paper piercer.
The lattice background in the oval was made by scoring 1/4" first one way and then the other way on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Crumb cake and a little bit of Basic Gray was sponged on the wrong side of the scored piece i.e. not the side that has the raised ridges.
