I haven't posted for about a week for a number of reasons. First I was recovering from my surgery on Oct. 29, and second I was a bit overwhelmed with Christmas shows coming and future workshops. So I took the time to prepare for those events. My first show was last Saturday and went extremely well, but after this all day event I drove to Toronto (1 1/2 hrs) for a team meeting. I suppose I could have stayed home, and I probably should have, but I find these meetings a great opportunity to get up-to-date news and new ideas for workshops. Needless to say I was exhausted when I got home Saturday night, but had to spend Sunday preparing for a workshop this afternoon. I also have a full class this Wednesday, and the card I am about to post is one of the 4 cards that will be made in this class.
Stamps: Dasher, Christmas Wishes
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Accessories: Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder, snowflake die #2 and the Big Shot, one petal from Boho Blossoms punch, champagne glass glitter, white taffeta ribbon (I dyed it a Crumb Cake using a marker because I ran out of the vanilla - I quite like that color), stampin' dimensionals
I made all 4 cards relatively simple because the class is only 2 hours and it will be a stretch to get the 4 cards done.
This card was inspired by a swap card I received at the Hamilton regionals.

Lovely card Maria. Rich colours and simple design. This is perfect for a class. Hope you are feeling better soon!
I love the texture added with the embossing folder and the glitter by Dasher's feet. I also really like the ribbon combined with the snowflake embellishment. Thanks for sharing!
