Shaker card - stamping 411 -Color Inspiration #110

The latest "Scrap & Stamp Arts" magazine provided inspiration for this card.

The finished size of this card is 4" by 5 3/8".  The base is Very Vanilla
I used the lid of a jumbo eyelet box to make the basic shaker box.
Inside the lid I cut a 2 5/8" circle in Very Vanilla and adhered it to the inside of the lid using Tombow adhesive.  I had to use clamps for a while until the glue set.
To make the rest of the inside of the shaker, I did the following:
1.  Stamp an image from the Boho Backgrounds stamp set.
2.  With SU markers colour in the image with Brocade blue, Certain Celery, and So Saffron
3.  Punch out the image with the scallop circle punch and adhere it to a circle punched with the  1 3/8" circle punch.
4.  Adhere to entire image to the very vanilla base circle.

The brocade blue top of the shaker box was made with a scallop spellbinder and the center cut out using the coluzzle.  A larger celery green ring was cut with the coluzzle and glued to the brocade blue scalloped circle.  The reason there are tiny blue glass beads around the edge of this circle is that I had inadvertently put Tombo glue there in order to adhere the clear plastic sheet.  But, I think it looks okay.
Put in some beads that are as close to certain celery as possible.
When the circle dried, I turned the circle over,  applied tombo adhesive, glued the plastic sheet on and then put adhesive on top of the sheet.  I then firmly attached to scallop circle to the lid. I left that to dry.

Card :  Very vanilla base.  First layer Certain celery  Second layer Brocade Blue that I ran through the embossing folder and lightly inked with So Saffron ink
Other: 1.4"  Grograin ribbon - So Saffron and Celery
Stamps:  Boho Backgrounds, Well Scripted
SU Markers:  So Saffron, Brocade blue, Certain celery
