Zoo Babies Towering Birthday

This card is based on one I saw on Pinterest, but is not an exact case.  Again, it's a birthday card for a young child.

Using a stamp-a-ma-jig, the animals were place one on top of the other on one side of the card.  In some instances e.g. with the bird, I coloured the images with markers prior to stamping.  A stick was drawn from the Zebra's mouth to the Happy Birthday sign placed at an angle near the top of the other side of the card.

Zoo Babies Happy Birthday train

I partially cased this card from stampinsarahiow in the UK.  I just thought it was a neat birthday card for a young child.

The train cards were made using the Petite Curly Label punch and embossed with the large polka dot folder.  The wheels were made using the 3/4" circle punch and the 2 sizes of eyes on the Owl Builder punch.  A piece of twine hold the wagons together and extends down to the Happy Birthday sentiment.
Using a stamp-a-ma-jig I placed the animals on each wagon.  The Lion got a little extra attention, in that I stamped the image twice, cut out the mane, and then cut out the face on the second one.  These were attached to the stamped image using dimensionals.  The monkey was coloured with a chocolate brown marker, and after it was stamped the open areas were coloured with a Hello Honey marker.

Zoo Babies - Happy 1st Birthday

At the market yesterday, some customers asked if I had any birthday cards for little children - and I'm embarassed to say that I did not.  So, today I sat down and using the Zoo Babies stamp set made some small children birthday cards.
Here is a birthday card for someone celebrating their first birthday.
