A Friend Like You - a Case

I received the bonus SAB products yesterday and today I had a chance to play with them. I just love !!! the glitter pack with my favourite colours in them. Twelve 6 by 6" sheets with 4 of each of the following colours:Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sugarplum are in this pack. I gravitated towards the Sweet Sugarplum and the Mint Macaron so decided to CASE the card on the front of the bonus SAB brochure.

A piece of Whisper White cardstock is die cut with the 2 flowers from the Stylish Stems framelit set.

Three large and 2 small leaves are die cut using the Mint Macaron glimmer paper and adhered around the die cut flowers are shown.

On the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock base the Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper is adhered.

This Whisper White piece is adhered (using dimensionals) on top of that.

In the middle of the card a 3/8" cucumber crush ribbon notched at one end with the other end folded over is added.  Over top of that is a sentiment stamped onto a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock which is notched at both ends.

Wishing You a Beautiful Day - Fab Friday #104

This week, the challenge with Fab Friday this week is a colour one - Very Vanilla, Sweet Sugarplum, and Soft Sky. I just love these colours together. It reminds me so much of a summer garden.

The base card is Sweet Sugarplum card stock measuring 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 , a side fold A2 card.

It is layered with Very Vanilla (4 by 5 1/4") and then Soft Sky DSP (3 3/4 by 5". Some 3/8" ruffled Sweet Sugarplum ruffled ribbon with a knot, was adhered to the left side of these layers after which it is adhered to the card base.

The Soft Sky art piece was die cut with the Stylish Stems framelits and matted with Very Vanilla and then Sweet Sugarplum card stock. Dimensionals were used to adhere this unit to the card front .

The sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of Very Vanilla cardstock which was clipped at one end.  Again, dimensionals were used to adhere this strip to the art piece.
