In Wildness - Thinking of You - Technostamper #220

I'm so excited spring is here, but not excited that some of my favourite stamp sets are retiring.  I made today's card for the Monday Sketch Challenge with Technostamper #220 here using a retiring stamp set and retiring designer paper.

Stamps: In Wildness, For Father
Inks: Early Espresso
Papers: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Mocha Morning specialty paper
Accessories: Houndtooth embossing folder, 2 1/2" circle punch, Modern Word Label Punch, Word Label Punch

I have used this stamp set for making masculine cards on many occasions - and that is one of the reasons I like it so much.
All the edges were sponged with Early Espresso ink to provide some distressing.

Mixed Bunch Mother's Day Card - Sketch Frenzy Friday

There's a saying that as one gets older the days go by faster.  I must be getting really old, because the days are just zooming along!  It seems like it was just yesterday that I was making a card for last week's Sketch Frenzy Friday mini blog hop, and now its another Friday.  And yes - time for another mini blog hop.  Hope you can find the time to join us and see what this amazing team has created with this week's sketch by Jennifer Weide

The lighting on this picture isn't the greatest.  I apologize for that.  I wanted this Mother's Day card to be soft and gentle so I used only 2 colors (if you consider Whisper White a color) - Whisper White and Pool Party, but I'm afraid it didn't photograph well.

Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Pool Party, Basic black
Papers: Pool Party, Whisper White, Attic Boutique designer paper
Accessories: Finial Press embossing folder, Blossoms punch, Word Window punch, Modern Word Label Punch, 3/8" Pool Party seam binding, Ornament punch, 5/8" Neutral Brads (white), Rhinestones, Stampin Dimensionals.

Now its your turn to create something.  I can hardly wait to see what you come up with.  When finished, upload it to the Sketch Frenzy Friday homepage here so we can comment on your work.
Your next stop on the tour is Patrice's blog: here
Don't forget to visit the blogs of the other team members and leave comments.

Stay well, and I'll see you next week.
