Thank you - Unscripted Sketches #238

It's so nice to back into an everyday routine.  As much as I love Christmas I am glad the season is over once again.
However, the weather has been frigidly cold - the coldest its been in over 30 years.  Since I really don't want to go out in this weather I've taken this opportunity to catch up on my blogging.
This card is for the challenge with Unscripted Sketches here

 

The base card is Pool Party cardstock layered with Whisper White cardstock and then This and That Epic Day Designer Paper.  The image panel is built on top of that.

The image is coloured with SU markers  and some dazzling diamonds is applied to the middle of the flowers.  The edge of the panel is sponged with Soft Suede ink.  Underneath the image panel are pieces of designer paper and strips of daffodil delight and gumball green cardstock.

So Very Grateful - Technostamper #293

Thought I'd give you a sneak preview of some of the contents of the new Occasions catalogue coming out Jan. 2.  We've been having a lot of snow lately - enough that we'll surely have a white Christmas.  I just love the spring feeling of this card.

And my card will also meet the LNS challenge i.e. to make a card that is not plain Jane- has at least 3 layers , 2 embellishments, and takes only 15 minutes to make.
