We all like to believe there is good in the world-especially in light of the events in Toronto yesterday.
And coloring the leaves from the Just Add Color DSP was very relaxing and made me feel hopeful.
So that's the sentiment I put on the card today.
The "Just Add Color" DSP has 2 (two) 12 by 12 pages filled with leaves of all shapes and sizes to color.
These leaves were colored with various shades of green, yellow and gray Blendabilities and then fussy cut.
They were arranged and adhered to a Whisper White panel stamped with a Crumb Cake dots created using the "Playful Backgrounds" stamp set. Two wooden elements from the March Paper Pumpkin were embossed with white glitter embossing powder and added to leaves.
Some 1/4" white organza ribbon and bow was added to the bottom of this panel.
After matting this panel with Wild Wasabi card stock, it was adhered to the card front using dimensionals.
The card base is Wild Wasabi card stock (which is retiring) layered with Whisper White card stock embossed with the Leaves Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from "So Many Shells"
Supplies Used:
Stamps: So Many Shells, Playful Backgrounds
Inks: Black Memento, Blendabilities, Versa mark
Papers: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Just Add Color DSP
Accessories: 1/4" White Organza ribbon, Petals Embossing Folder, Wooden Elements from March Paper Pumpkin kit, Dimensionals, White glitter embossing powder

Be Creative Every Day - Try Stampin' on Tuesday or Not #326
For the sketch challenge with Try Stampin' or Not this week, the optional theme is "Wiggles and Waves". I guess one would immediately think of the ocean or waves, but I immediately thought of paint lines made by brushes.
This week's sketch is by Kaylin

The Cajun Craze card base is layered with Whisper White card stock and then with two types of DSP. The left side is a DSP made by stamping one of the Playful Background stamps; the right side with a striped Cajun Craze DSP. A 3/4" strip of Tranquil Tide card stock, with one notched end was adhered horizontally across the card front.
The focal image was embossed with black embossing powder and colored with ink pads and a blender pen. It was then fussy cut and mounted on a 1 3/4" Whisper White circle embossed with the "Oh My Stars" embossing folder, This circle was matted with a 2" Cajun Craze before mounting it to the card front using dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I traced the outline of the sentiment using the spot left vacant when I removed the stamp from its case.
Three small pearls that look like Tranquil Tide were adhered on the right upper card.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Crafting Forever, Playful Background, Timeless Texture
Inks: Versa Mark, Cajun Craze, Black Memento, Tranquil Tide
Paint Brushes: Dapper Denim, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Gold marker, Silver marker
Papers: Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Cajun Craze DSP, Tranquil Tide
Accessories: Oh My Stars Embossing Folder, Black embossing powder, Tranquil Tide Pearls. Dimensionals
Now its your turn to create something using Kaylin's sketch. Remember, you have 2 weeks to create something. Don't forget to upload it to either the Try Stampin' on Tuesday blog site, or their Facebook site. Looking forward to seeing what you create.
