Open Sleigh Warm Winter Wishes - Create with Connie & Mary 221

It's a rainy cool day in southern Ontario, but I managed to get an hour's worth of gardening and raking leaves before the rain started.
This card is for the sketch challenge with CCM 221 here

CCMC221

Technique:
The Cherry Cobbler base is layered with first Very Vanilla, then a DSP from the Festival of Prints pack.
Image: The sleigh was embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder on Very Vanilla card stock.  The edges of the panel were sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink, and the panel was then matted with Cherry cobbler card stock.  Some champagne glass glitter at the base of the sleigh completed the image.
Sentiment: This was taken from Winter Memories, stamped with Basic Black and die cut using the Apothecary accessories framelit..  The edges were sponged and attached along the right side of the image panel.

Stamps: Open Sleigh, Winter memories
Inks: Versa Mark, Basic Black
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints DS pack, Marina Mist
Accessories: Apothecary accessories framelit, Champagne glass glitter, rhinestones, Cherry cobbler embossing powder.

I just missed the linky, so am unable to post it to the CCM site.

Merry Sleigh - Technostamper 235

Black and white seems to be very popular colors for Christmas cards this year, but I just couldn't do it.  Some color had to be on my card which I made for the TSSC 235 here

To make this card, I placed the sketch on its side.

Technique
Card Base:  The Basic black card base was embossed with the polka dot folder and lightly inked with Whisper White - like it's snowing.
Sleigh and Image Panel  The sleight was embossed with cherry cobbler embossing powder.  The edges of the whisper White panel were pricked with the mat pack and paper piercer
Embellishments: Using the Merry Mini stamp set, 2 different trees were stamped using gumball green ink.  They were punched out using the coordinating mini punch.  Some dazzling diamonds was added to the trees and a rhinestone attached to the top.  The trees were attached to a 3/4" Cherry cobbler circle which had also been paper pierced - with a dimensional.  This was attached to a 1" Whisper white circle.
The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny wishes - the word "Merry" was highlighted with a marker and stamped on a piece of Whisper white card stock and punched with a 3/4" circle punch.  This circle was also paper pierced.  Using a dimensional it was attached to a 1" Cherry Cobbler circle, the edges of which were sponged with Whisper White ink so it would stand out from the designer paper.   A row of rhinestones were placed under the word.

Stamps: Open Sleight, Merry Minis, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Versa Mark, Cherry Cobbler marker, Gumball Green, Whisper White
Papers: Basic Black, Whisper White, Be of Good Cheer designer paper, Cherry cobbler
Accessories: Polka dot folder, Mat pack & paper piercer, Merry Minis Punches, 3/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, Cherry cobbler embossing powder, rhinestones, dimensionals, Dazzling diamonds

Season's Greetings with the Open Sleigh - Just Add Ink 127

The weather has cooled down significantly here and it's actually enjoyable to be outdoors.  If only I could make cards on my back deck - but it's been too windy.  We're actually in dire need of rain - haven't had any for a couple of weeks and the farmers are beginning to get worried.  Forest fires are also popping up in northern Ontario and campers in Algonquin park were put on notice to be ready to evaculate.
Yesterday I made a card using the Open Sleigh, and experimented with various color combinations including black and white.  I did not use the black and white one on yesterday's card, but decided to use it on the card for the color challenge with Just Add Ink here
The color challenge:  black , whisper white and any other colour I wanted.  I chose to use the Red Glimmer paper.
