A 100th Birthday Celebration- Hand Stamped Sentiments #268

It's truly amazing how often I get requests for 100 year birthday cards at my various shows.  Since I do not have any more left I thought I would use the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments here

The card base is Powder Pink, layered with Whisper White embossed with the Trellis Embossing Folder.

The focal image is a die cut circle with the number 100 die cut in Silver Glimmer paper using the Large Number Framelits.  Behind the numbers I stamped some stem and floral images in Pear Pizzazz and Sweet Sugarplum. This circle is matted with Blushing Bride glimmer paper, and added to some Petal Gardens DSP.

Behind the DSP is a strip of Blushing Bride glimmer paper; a similar strip is layered in front of the circle just below the number.

The sentiment is stamped on a die cut banner and adhered to the lower glimmer strip.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Number of Years
Inks:  Black Memento, Pear Pizzazz, Sweet Sugarplum
Papers;  Pink Powder, Whisper White, Petal Gardens DSP, Silver Glimmer paper, Blushing Bride DSP
Accessories:  Layering Circle Framelits, Large Number Framelits, Trellis embossing folder, dimensionals

Pop UP Birthday Card

I'm in love.  I have never had much success with making pop up cards, and now SU has a framelit that makes a pop up card.  Yeah!!
I was so excited that I die cut 3 cards, but I have finished only 1 so far.  You'll just love this framelit and its coordinating stamp set.

This is the front of the card.  For a pop up card, two bases are cut - one for the outside and one for the inside.  In this case, the outside is Marina Mist, layered with Whisper White and then Pretty Petals DSP stack.
The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set "Party With Cake", and it was coloured with markers before stamping.  Then it was die cut with the Banners Framelit.

Some cake decorations were stamped on one of the points of the banner, and on the other point  an embellishment.  This embellishment was made by stamping the image of the cake using Island Indigo ink, punching it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch, layering with with a 1 3/8" punched circle in Watermelon wonder, and attached to a 1 3/4" scallop circle.  Three candles, stamped with Watermelon Wonder were stamped on a separate piece of Whisper White, cut out and attached to the top of the cake.  Some glitter was applied to the white part of the cake using Wink of Stella glitter brush.  The embellishment was adhered to the banner using dimensionals.

Some Marina Mist Baker's twine was wound around the Whisper White and DSP layers and tied into a bow.

The inside is Whisper White, and the sentiment "Happy Birthday" is die cut using the new pop up framelit.
Both sides were adhered to the front of the card using tombo glue.
On the left side, 6 balloons on a string were added.  They were stamped on a separate piece of Whisper White and punched with the coordinating Balloon punch.  One balloon was stamped with full strength Marina Mist, and the second was stamped off.  They were added with tombo glue except the one in the middle bottom.  It was attached using dimensionals.

The balloons are from the stamp set "Balloon Celebrations.

On the right side a sentiment was stamped in Marina Mist ink.  Then  above that the Large Numbers thinlet dies were used to die cut the age "40" using silver glimmer paper.
