Secret Garden birthday - Freshly Made Sketches #67

My younger sister is having a birthday in the next couple of weeks, and I'm working ahead to get her card done.  She loves flowers but she did not inherit our father's  green thumb. All plants usually don't do well under her care. The flowers I made for this card will hopefully thrive as long as she doesn't try to water them - LOL.  Hope she likes the card.
I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches here to make the card.

Stamps:  Secret Garden, Sassy Salutations
Inks: Black Stazon, Versa Mark, SU markers (Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight)
Papers: Marina Mist, Very Vanilla, Parker's Patterns DSP
Accessories: Secret Garden framelits, Fancy Fan folder, 1/4" Tangerine Tango satin ribbon, Black embossing powder, Tangerine Tango embossing powder, Wild Wasabi embossing folder, Scallop border pumch, Aqu painter, dimensionals

Papers: Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Patio Party DSP, Midnight Muse

Poinsettia Christmas - Freshly Made Sketches #61

Today is a big day for me.  Tomorrow is my Annual Christmas Card making event and I have 14 students coming.  I'm setting up tonight at 5 p.m. and practically have to empty my whole craft room.  It's being held in a beauty salon.
This card is for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge here

Stamps:  Watercolor Christmas, Greetings of the Season
Inks: Black Stazon, SU markers
Papers: Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Petals-a-Plenty folder, 1/8" Old Olive taffeta ribbon, Dazzling Details, dimensionals, 1" Circle Punch

On a Whisper White base card, a piece of Lucky Limeade cardstock which had been embossed only 1/4 of the way up, was attached.
Then on a piece of Whisper White card stock the ivy and holly stamp was stamped on the right hand side and colored.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White, the Poinsettia was stamped, colored and cut out.  It was then placed at the top of the Ivy and Holly.  Dazzling details was applied to the colored images.

Countryside Harvest Birthday - Freshly Made Sketches #43

|Apple growers in southern Ontario have had a real hit this year.  The week of extremely warm weather in March caused the trees to blossom prematurely.  These poor blossoms froze when the cold weather returned.  As a result - no or few apples.
As a kid I lived near an apple orchard, and spent many happy hours picking apples.  I can smell the rich fruity smell of apples growing on trees as I`m typing these words.
This card reminds me of those happy times.
I used the sketch with Freshly Made Sketches here     This is a site I just recently discovered and the idea is to keep the cards simple and fresh looking.   Keeping a card simple is a real challenge for me, but I think I accomplished the task.

The image was colored with markers and a blender pen.

Stamps:  Countryside, Sassy Salutations
Inks: Midnight Muse, SU Markers
Papers: Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Comfort Cafe designer paper
Accessories: Blender pen, stampin dimensionals
