With Sympathy - Technostamper #265

What funny weather we have been having lately.  First it's so hot we had the AC on, and then the temperature dropped so drastically there was a risk of frost and I had to cover my plants.  Now, by the end of the week its going to get hot again.  What a ride!!

This card is for the challenge with Technostamper here

Inks: Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Old Olive
Papers: Island Indigo, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Old Olive, Print Poetry DSP
Accessories: Honeycomb folder, dimensionals, stamp-a-ma-jig

Thanks for stopping by.

Field Flower Thanks - Mojo Monday #293

What a beautiful day today.  The sun is shining brightly, and although the temperatures are still cool (at least this morning), it was nice working in the garden.
The trees are almost in full leaf, and along the highway, Trilliums are blooming underneath them.
I'm getting ready today for a Craft Show this weekend at Buckhorn.  I set up tomorrow, and sell Saturday and Sunday.  The weather is supposed to be nice.

Today's card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge here.
I had stamped the Field flowers for an earlier project which didn't turn out, so I decided to use them for this project.

Since I had stamped the flowers previously, using Baja Breeze and Not Quite navy inks,(guided with the stamp-a-ma-jig) I used that colour scheme throughout the card. The card base is Not Quite Navy, layered with Whisper White.  A piece of Tea for Two designer paper, matted with Not Quite Navy card stock was attached to the right side of the card. A strip of Lucky Limeade, which was embossed with the square lattice folder and then matted with Not Quite Navy, was attached to the designer paper.  But before attaching, I made 7  banners in Lucky Limeade and adhered them to the Lucky Limeade strip.

A 2 1/2" Whisper White circle was punched and the edges pricked with the template, mat pack and paper piercer.  I stamped the stem and leaf of the Field Flower in Old Olive ink, and adhered the cut out Field Flower with a dimensional.  I also cut out the small flower and adhered it near the bottom. Some dazzling details was added to the flowers. This circle was matted with a 2 3/4" circle of Not Quite Navy.
The second circle was the same size as the focal image circle, only I used Parker's designer paper as the smaller one.

Here's a summary of the materials/supplies used:
Stamps:  Field flowers, Petite Pairs
Inks: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze
Papers: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Parker's Designer Paper, Tea for Two Designer Paper, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Square lattice folder, 2 1/2" circle punch, Circles die #2, Small oval punch, rhinestones, Dazzling details, 1/8" Old Olive taffeta ribbon, dimensionals, Mat pack & paper piercer, Stamp-a-ma-jig.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
