Pop and Twist , a birthday on the Golf course

I love watching the expressions on people's faces when this card is opened! It certainly is a card for a special someone.

There are many tutorials on how to make these Pop and twist cards including the one at at splitcoaststampers.

This special fold card was made for a gentleman who loves golf and is celebrating a birthday.  But it could be made for another occasion  such as retirement, anniversary, job promotion etc.

The card base is Basic Black layered with Basic Gray and then the Argyle pattern of the Country Club DSP.  The card is held closed with a belly band, which is kept closed with velcro.

This band is decorated with another larger Argyle pattern from the same Country Club DSP. The ends are covered with some Basic Gray card stock punched with the Tailored Tag punch upon which is a die cut golf ball.

The art piece o the front is an image cut from the DSP and coloured with water colour pencils. It is matted with basic Black card stock before adding  it to the card front.

Opening the card activates the awesome pop and twist part of the card.

Below are close ups of the pop and twist panels:

Country Club Bendi Card - SUO Challenge #243

For the 3D Challenge at SUO Challenge #243, I made a Bendi fold card using the Country Club bundle.

To make the Bendi card below I used the tutorial at Splitcoaststampers here

The Smokey Slate card base was decorated with various patterns of the Country Club DSP . On the back of the card, it looks like there is a giant TV screen.  That's not really a TV screen, but it sure looks like it.

One of the pages of the DSP has numerous black and white images ready to colour. I selected one of the images and  coloured it with watercolour pencils and a blender pen. It was then  matted with Garden Green card stock, and adhered to the card.

The die cut golfer, which I strengthened with two additional die cut layers,  was mounted on the outside of the largest curved flap - all ready to hit that hole in one.

Various other images were also coloured , die cut and  then used to embellish the card.

In order to provide a place to write a message, a piece of Whisper White card stock was added to the back of the card
