My Little Pig Book mark - You Make me Happy

This is one of the many book marks I am making for my Open house June 10, and later for my craft show on July 2. It features one of the adorable little pigs.

This little pig was stamped, colored, cut out and adhered to a 2 by 5 1/2" Basic Black book mark.  Some garden green grass was placed on the bottom, and a strip of striped So Saffron DSP adhered to the top.

Some SAB gold ribbon was inserted through the book mark aperture and  tied with a 1/8" gold ribbon tied around it.

Supplies:
Stamp This Little Pig
Inks: Black Memento, Blushing Bride, Basic Gray
Papers: Basic Black, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Daffodil Delight DSP, Garden Green
Accessories: Retired gold SAB ribbon, 1/8" gold taffeta ribbon, rhinestones

Avante-Garden Book Mark

One thing I am doing with my classes this term is to include one card/item made with a Sale-a-bration item.
For the class at the end of the month, a book mark made using the Avante-Garden stamp set is included as a bonus, along with the 4 Beautiful You cards.

A 2 by 6" piece of watercolour paper is stamped with 2 flower images  using Basic Gray Archival ink.  It is the coloured with ink pads and an aqua painter.
The background is then stamped in Marina Mist using the "dot" stamp
Stamp the image on a 1 by 2 1/4" piece of Marina Mist, and notch both ends.  Adhere at top of book mark.
Insert lace ribbon through punch hole and tie some thick Baker's twine around it. Fray the ends. Make a bow with the Baker's twine and add with a glue dot.

Stamp: Avante=Garden
Inks: Basic Gray Archival, Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Marina Mist
Papers: Watercolor paper, Marina Mist
Accessories: 3/8 " Very Vanilla lace ribbon, Very Vanilla thick baker's twine, Angle topper punch, Aqua painter
