The theme for the swap cards for February (yes I'm working ahead) is ribbons i.e use ribbon(s) on a card. I found this card on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for this swap. This individual cased the card from another source but was unable to find the original designer.
I decided to case this card as well. The link to her blog is here
I used 1/4" white ribbon that I purchased from the Dollar store and wove it into edges punched with the Scallop edge border punch from Stampin' Up.
I've kept the colour scheme to black and white. Even the embellishments are white, although these can be omitted . I like that little bit of texture.
Products I used:
Papers: Basic White, Basic Black
Accessories: Scallop edge border punch (Stampin Up), 1/4" white satin ribbon (Dollar store), Spellbinder Tropical Flair dies, Spellbinder sentiment dies, Dimensionals, Ice white Perlen Pen (flower centers)
This would make a great wedding, anniversary, or even sympathy card.
