My first Gingerbread house

 I used to feel envious of friends who made these wonderful, gorgeous Gingerbread houses at 

Christmas time.  I promised myself that I would make one some day.

That some day came today.

I invited a friend over for Christmas dinner. She arrived early so we could make this house. Surely I could make this house because do not children make this during the Christmas season?

Was I wrong!

I was unable to complete all tasks related to the construction of this house- the walls wouldn't stay together, the roof wouldn't stay on, and sides collapsed, and the candy had a mind of its own.
