I love flowers.
I love making cards
Today I thought I would combine the two loves! So I started searching "Flower pot cards" on Pinterest and You Tube, only to find that there are many (and I mean many) tutorials and card examples on how to make this lovely fold. After watching a few videos, I decided to make my own Easel Flower Pot card.
The base card for this card was Basic White, layered with Highland Heather followed by Hues of Happiness DSP.
The flower pot was embossed with the 3D Timeworn Type Embossing folder. The flowers were die cut directly from the Hues of Happiness DSP.
Orchid Oasis cardstock formed the base for this card. layered with Basic Whiter. The flower pot is made using the Starry Sky DSP.
The flowers were punched using two punches and two colors - the large Daisy punch and the Medium Daisy Punch. The leaves were also punched but using a non SU punch. The two colors for the flowers: Starry Sky and Highland Heather, with Parakeet Party for the leaves.
The centers of the flowers are gold glitter gems.
In the 3rd card, the flowers were stamped using the Happiness Abounds stamp set and die cut with the coordinating dies. The flowers were colored with Stampin' Blends (Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy); the leaves with Parakeet Party and Evening Evergreen. Black Pearlized enamel was added to the centers of the flowers and Real Red organza ribbon wrapped around the flower pot.
The base of the card is Poppy Parade, layered with Basic White, and Rings of Love DSP (SAB)
