It's Time for a Cup of Tea

Today I want to show you a couple of cards that I made using the new "Tea Boutique" products.  The suite includes the "Cup of Tea bundle", Tea Boutique DSP, and Tea Boutique cards and Envelopes.  You will find this Boutique on Pg. 12-13 in the new annual catalogue.

For the first card, I used the Cup of Tea stamp set, coordinating Tea Cup dies as well as one of the Tea boutique card and envelope. I also use one of the sheets of the 6 by 6" Tea Boutique DSP as well  the Matte Decorative dots (2022-2024 In Colour) found on Pg 140.

The Tea Boutique cards are side fold A2 cards and the one I am using is the new Starry Sky colour.

To start, I die cut a piece of Basic white card stock using the Scallop Contour die which will be the art piece.  The leaves were stamped using the Parakeet Party ink, and the flowers above using Fresh Freesia ink.  On a 6 by 6" piece of DSP (a solid Starry sky colour) one of the tea cups( with the floral images inside) is stamped using Starry Sky ink.

In addition, the tea bag tag and two lemon slices are stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White using Crushed Curry ink.  The sentiment inside the tea bag is stamped using Starry sky ink.

All of these - the tea cup, tea bag and lemon slices are die cut and set aside.

Before adding the tea bag to the side of the cup, a piece of white Baker's twine (Baker's twine essentials pack Pg. 146) is added to the back of the cup using a glue dot. The other end of the twine is added to the back side of the tea bag, and the tea bag is ten attached to the front/side of the tea cup.  The cup is then added below the stamped greenery using dimensionals.

The finished art piece is added to the card front using dimensionals.

The lemon slices are added with dimensionals, at an angle, below the tea cup.

To finish the art piece, some Parakeet Party matte decorative dots are added to the card front.

After die cutting it with the coordinating tea cup die, it is placed under the green foliage using dimensionals.

On the inside, a similar image is stamped below the sentiment.

With the card finished, the coordinating envelope finishes the project so nicely.
