Rainbow Glitter

Ever wonder what to do with the Rainbow Glitter paper?  Certainly I was at a loss so it sat in a drawer week after week.

Until yesterday!

As I mentioned yesterday - I have been cleaning, organizing, etc. and yesterday I opened a package of retired DSP - The Detailed Shimmer Laser Cut DSP. The shimmer laser cut silhouette panels were show cased perfectly against the bright rainbow colours.

Here I adhered the framed silhouette of two dandelions to a same size piece of Rainbow Glitter paper.  This was matted with a  slightly larger piece of Pacific Point card stock and then  Blackberry Bliss.

Because the matted panel does not quite fit onto the front of an A2 card, a piece of Black Berry Bliss card stock die cut with the Delicate lace Edgelit die was added as a filler.

Some linen thread was tied around the far end  and pearls added to the center of the flowers and on the sentiment piece.

This silhouette panel was adhered to the warmer colours of the rainbow glitter paper. After matting with Back berry Bliss it was added to a Thick Very Vanilla card stock base.

Rhinestones were added to the centers of the flowers.

And finally the silhouette of the bird.  It's amazing the difference it makes in the mood of the card depending on which part of the rainbow glitter paper the image is placed against.

This panel was matted with Balmy Blue, a separate piece of which was also die cut with the Delicate Lace Edgelit die. Both were added to a Blackberry Bliss card stock base.
