I’m Thinking of You a sneak peak of new DSP Jan. 2021 plus a video

The DSP is  Black and White and is called “True Love”

This paper is just waiting to be coloured.  No it doesn’t mean  that it can’t be used in its black and white form -  but there are several pages that can be coloured in different ways such as with:

Stampin Blends

.watercolor pencils

.blending brushes

Daubers

Here are some cards I made using the flowers I coloured with Stampin Blends.

Card #1:

After colouring the flowers with Seaside Spray and the leaves with Old Olive  Stampin' Blends, they were fussy cut from a 12 by 12" sheet of True Love DSP.  I sponged the edges with Basic Gray ink to get rid of the cut marks and then mounted them on to a piece of  Basic Black card stock die cut with a  Stitched So Sweetly die. Some yellow prills (non SU) were added to the floral centers.

This was adhered (with dimensionals) straddling a panel of the Black/White DSP in stripes and a Whisper White White card stock, embossed with the Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder.  A 3/8" metallic Seaside Spray ribbon overlays the two layers, and a bow made of the same ribbon is attached below the flower.

The sentiment is from the Art Gallery stamp and is die cut using a Floral Gallery Die.  Again, dimensionals are used to adhere this die cut below the image.

Card #2

This is a different flower than the one above. To me it looks like a rose, so I coloured this one using Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends.  The leaves were coloured with Granny Apple Green with Daffodil Delight highlights.
Shimmery Crystal Effects was used to apply Dazzling Diamonds around the floral petals.

For the card front, I used a floral open grid rectangle from the now retired Laser cut DSP. The card front was first die cut with a rectangle stitched die, one size smaller than the grid paper.  Then double sided tape was used to adhere this to the inside of the card. Some of these inserts are also in the Memories & More packs so this is a great way to use them.

Because the back of the flowers would show through to the inside of the card, I traced the outline of the flowers onto a separate piece of card stock and cut it out.  This piece is adhered to the inside of the card (see picture below) matching the outlines of the flowers adhered to the card front.
I placed two flowers in the bottom left corner and a single flower in the upper left.
Above the flowers in the lower left I added a punched Dragon fly I coloured with a blender pen and added glitter using a Wink of Stella pen.  Two black embellishments were added to the head.
A bow  made with the 1/2" woven Vanilla ribbon was added below the lower flower.

Card #3  A Shaker Card

The front of the card was treated the same way as in card #2, ie. die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die and adhering a window sheet to the inside.  On the outside of this window sheet I adhered a floral silhouette which was part of the Laser cut DSP.  A shaker card was then made in the usual manner.
An organza Petal Pink ribbon was adhered along the left side and then the floral cluster coloured with Petal Pink Stampin' blends was added with dimensionals.  Some black prills were added to the flower center.
A double bow was added above the flowers with the longer ends twirled around the outside of the flowers.
Some rhinestones were added randomly to the card front,
