This card was made for the sketch challenge with Paper Craft Crew Challenges #387 here
It provided me with the perfect opportunity to use the new Stitched Triangular dies.
On a Shaded Spruce top folding card base, is adhered a piece of Whisper White embossed with the 3D Forest Embossing Folder,
A Stitched Triangle die was used to die cut a tree from the 'Tis the Season' DSP. A small rectangle cut from the Wood Grain DSP was added to the bottom to make the tree trunk.
For the image beside the upright triangle in the sketch, I decided to place two Moose there. So, on a separate piece of Whisper White, the Moose was stamped using Soft Suede ink. It was stamped a second time without reinking the stamp to create the lighter coloured second moose. Both were then punched with the Moose punch and positioned beside the triangle tree - the darker one emerging from behind the tree, and the lighter one in front. Dimensionals were used to adhere this Moose.
A sentiment, from "Perfectly Plaid" was stamped on a 1/2" piece of Whisper White with Mossy Meadow ink. One end was punched with the Banner Pick a Punch, and added below the tree with dimensionals.
Red rhinestones were added randomly on the tree and on the sentiment piece - and I couldn't resist - the nose of the Moose.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Merry Moose, Perfectly Plaid
Inks: Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow
Papers: Shaded Spruce, Whisper White, 'Tis the Season DSP'
Accessories: Stitched Triangle dies, Moose Punch, Forest 3D, Embossing Folder, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals.
