The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and its coordinating Lily Pad dies is a current SAB offering, free with an order of $120. SAB will be over the end of this month, which motivated me to use this particular option for the challenge.
I started by white embossing the images on watercolour paper. Each image was then 'washed' with the desired colour using an ink pad and an aqua painter with highlights added with Stampin' Blends. They were then die cut.
The back drop for the images i.e the pond, is the Lily Impressions DSP which was embossed with the retired Seaside Embossing Folder. The cracks made in the DSP looks like waves in the pond. This layer was matted with Whisper White and then Garden Green card stock before being added, at an angle, to a Whisper White card base.
The large and small lilies were adhered with dimensionals; the Lily pads adhered directly to the DSP below them. An additonal small lily pad coloured in Granny Apple Green was added above the smaller flower.
Along the right edge was added a die cut trim that was sponged lightly with Proud Peacock ink.
The sentiment from "Timeless Tulips" is die cut using one of the dies from the "Sending Flowers" die and added to the card front using dimensionals.

Stamps: Lovely Lily Pad, Timeless Tulip

Wow!!! I love this technique and the effect it gave! It almost looks neon and really stands out! I think you chose the perfect background to set the lilly on as well! Thanks for playing along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
Wow! Love all the details and textures. Great idea embossing the images on watercolor paper then washing with color and using the Stampin' Blends. I will have to try this technique. Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
