Floral Thanks - Freshly Made Sketches #427

Because of self-isolation I am spending more time in the craft room - not that I'm experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 but because certain health risks make me more vulnerable,

Yesterday I made this thand you card using a fussy cut flower from the Metallic Floral DSP (SAB. This flower  had been coloured with Stampin' Blends.

The card is being submitted to the clean and simple sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #427

This is a 2 layer card both of Whisper White.  The mat layer has been embossed with the Subtle Texture Embossing folder, which was embossed in 2 directions to give the paper a canvas look.

Just below the mid point of this canvas-like layer is a horizontal strip of the grid pattern of the same DSP matted with copper foil.  A sentiment, embossed in copper foil, die cut with the Stitched Rectangle die, is added to this strip.

The fussy cut Daffodil Delight coloured flower is added to the front of the card overlapping this strip.  Dimensionals were used to give it a fuller appearance.

To finish the card three metallic elements were placed at the upper left.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  A Lot of Thanks (retired)
Inks:  Versa Mark, Stampin' Blends (Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive)
Papers:  Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Metallic Foil DSP (SAB), Copper Foil
Accessories:  Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched Rectangle Die, Metallic Elements, Copper Embossing Powder
