On a thick Very Vanilla card base was layered a piece of Early Espresso card stock, and on top of that some Woodgrain DSP embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder. Using a finger dauber, some Soft Suede ink was gently rubbed over the embossed DSP to bring out the highlights.
A 2 1/4" circle was punched in the embossed Woodgrain DSP after which this layer was adhered to the Early Espresso layer using dimensionals.
At the far left end a smaller strip of a darker shade of the Woodgrain DSP was added which was converted into a bard door using the hard ware die cut from the Barn door dies. The door does not move.
On a separate piece of Whisper White card stock, two of the cows were stamped. The third cow was stamped using reverse stamping. This was done by stamping first on the silicone sheet and then placing the card stock directly onto the silicone mat. All 3 cows were coloured with blendabilites and fussy cut. Two of the cows were inserted into the punched circle underneath the door. The head of one of the cows was cut along the neck line so that the head could extend over the circle. Some branches were die cut in Crushed Curry, & adhered under the die cut circle to mimic hay(?). The third cow, tired from partying, is lying on the ground below the window.
The birthday sentiment, from Cake Soiree, was stamped onto a Crumb Cake die cut tag (from Delicate Birthday \Edgelet dies). This was added at an angle over the door, using dimensionals, with a bow made with two stands of Linen Thread added to the top.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Over the Moon, Cake Soiree
Inks: Black Memento, Soft Suede, Stampin' Blends (Basic Black, Real Red, Ivory, Bronze, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive)
Papers: Very Vanilla (Thick), Whisper White, Early Espresso, Woodgrain DSP, Basic Black, Crumb Cake
