Doesn't it look neat?
Here's how its done:
- Crumple a 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Whisper White card stock in your hand.
- Straighten the piece, trying not to smooth out the wrinkles
- Using the open ink pad, apply the first colour of ink directly to the crumpled paper . The ink will be picked up by the top of the wrinkles.
- Before applying the second colour, crumple the paper a second time to create new wrinkles
- Again straighten the paper being careful to preserve the wrinkles.
- Apply second ink colour in the same manner as with first colour.
- Spritz paper with water to allow colours to blend.
- Dry with heat tool or set aside to dry.
- When dry, smooth wrinkled paper with a bone folder. It is now ready to use on a card.
On the card above, I applied Rich Razzelberry ink first, followed by Black Memento. It was matted with Basic Black card stock and mounted on a Rich Razzelberry card stock base.
