Pop of Petals meets Jar of Love

I was working in my garden this morning  enjoying the lushness of the foliage and the brilliance of the blooms. I enjoy my flowers, and I enjoy making paper flowers.  This card is the result.

On a piece of Whisper White card stock I stamped 3 flowers and 3 leaves from the Pop of Petals stamp set.

The flowers were punched  with the coordinating 4 Petal punch, and  the leaves were fussy cut.

Each flower was colored as follows:  Daffodil Delight in the center, Melon Mambo in the middle of the petals, and Calypso Coral on the edges and the reverse side. The leaves, which  were stamped in Mossy Meadow had their edges sponged with the same color of ink after they were fussy cut.

Each flower was spritzed lightly with water and after drying, the petals were shaped with a stylus.  Some 3D liquid adhesive was applied and while wet some Dazzling Diamonds was sprinkled on them.

The jar was stamped from the Jar of Love stamp set, with the water being stamped with Balmy Blue. Two floral sprigs were stamped on either side of the jar, and the three flowers added on the top of the jar, with the three leaves added as shown.

A bow of 1/8" white organza ribbon tied into a bow was adhered to the jar top.

The art piece was matted with Calypso coral, and this unit was added to the Melon Mambo card base matted with Whisper White.
