Bubble paint background anyone?

One of my team members, Gail, volunteered to show us how to make a wonderful background using acrylic paint mixed in water and then you blow into this mixture with a straw. This creates bubbles - paper is applied to these bubbles to create the background.

Here are some pictures of us trying this technique - and having a lot of fun in the process.


 

Looks like a milk shake, but don't drink it!

Now blow into mixture - bubbles come to top - bring paper to bubbles.  You see a couple of samples already made.

We had several colors to choose from and could make our own color if we wished.


After the paint is on the paper you can "play around" with the shapes using a straw or just stir and keep on "blowing bubbles"

We had a blast!
