Today I made a fun fold card - center fold- using the Blossoming Basket stamp set and Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder. These two coordinating products are free during SAB with a $120 purchase. Stampin' Up has already announced that these two items will be carried over into the new catalogue but will be unbundled, and of course one would have to pay for them. So get them now with an order of $120.
I used the tutorial with Splitcoaststampers stampers here to make the Center Fold card.
The card base is Thick Whisper White card stock, cut and scored as per the tutorial on SCS.
I embossed some Crumb Cake card stock with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder, but I used the wrong side - not intently, but I quite like it. The surface was sponged lightly with Crumb Cake ink before adhering the various pieces to the card.
The focal piece, the image from Blossoming Basket, was stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock, coloured with Blendabilities and fussy cut. Some 3D lacquer was added to the flowers making them look more alive. This cut out basket was adhered to a small doily which was adhered to the center part of the fold. A couple of butterflies were also cut out. One was adhered to the handle; one flying off.
