Lots of Lavender Braided Card

Braiding the folded edge of the card makes the card look so elegant!  It looks complicated, but it is so easy.

I stamped and coloured the Lots of Lavender stamp set using a blender pen and Perfect Plum ink. It was die cut using the Layering Ovals stamp set, and because the image was too long for the die, I cut around the stem and laid it over the oval die cut so as not to cut it.  To make the bouquet look fuller, I stamped a second image on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock, coloured only the flowers and cut 3 of the branches.  I added these to the bouquet., then added a bow made of 1/8" silver taffeta ribbon. Some glitter was added to the flowers.

The image was coloured al around using a Soft Sky Bendability marker.

The die cut oval was matted with a Perfect Plum scallop oval die cut.  The two were adhered together using dimensionals.

This was adhered to some Petal Perfect DSP  layered with Perfect Plum card stock, and edged with Iridescent glimmer paper punched with the Decorative Ribbon punch.

This was added to the Plum Perfect card front the edge of which was braided.

The sentiment, from Heartfelt Blooms, was black embossed onto Vellum cardstock, and adhered to the card front at an angle.
