The point of this confession is that I have some objects left over from those days - dinner plates with removable inserts (to needlepoint), napkin rings, lotion dispenser, mugs, and even a designer switch cover.
I pulled them out the other day, and had an idea!!!
Here's the result:
The dinner plates (4) are clear acrylic plastic that is dishwasher safe. It has a removable covert at the back that can be removed to allows the insert design in to be changed.
There are a total of 12 different inserts - one for each month. I used one of the inserts as a template to cut the Daisy Delight DSP.
The same DSP was inserted in each of the napkin rings. On the top of each napkin ring was placed a Daisy cluster. This was made by punching 2 Daisies in Whisper white, sponging the tips with Dapper Denim ink and placing Daffodil Delight in the center. Each Daisy was then spritzed lightly to allow the colors to blend. When they were dry, the petals were shaped and two Daisies were hot glued together off setting the petals. Daffodil Delight stamens, die cut using the Botanical Builder dies, were added to the inside of each Daisy and two leaves, die cut using a retired framelit, were adhered to the underside of each Daisy. This cluster was adhered to a scallop circle which was adhered to the top of the napkin ring with a dimensional.
This DSP was also inserted in a lotion bottle (or soap), a mug, and switch cover plate. See below.
