Card #2 You Make Me Flutter

The students had a wonderful time getting  a hummingbird and/or butterfly to flutter.  I don't think they were convinced that the fluttering would actually work, because when I showed them the card they were going to make I could see skepticism on their faces.  But they were game and followed my directions.

The basic card is Basic Black cardstock, layered with Lemon Lime Twist card stock.  The pocket for the "fluttering" chamber is Perfect Plum.  Thank goodness for the coordinating framelits, especially the one that die cuts the striped window.  One student asked quite fearfully if I was expecting them to cut this window using an exacto knife.
After the hummingbird was stamped and inserted into the pocket behind the window, there were gasps and ohhhs around the table.  Fluttering really did happen!!!
