You're Egg-stra Special

This egg carton had been altered earlier by adding colour to it using a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol and So Saffron reinker.  Because So Saffron is a light yellow in color I spritzed it twice to get the color saturation that I wanted.

Today I made an Easter tag which will be attached to the carton.

The top end of a 2 by 4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock was punched with the Scallop Top Tag Punch.
A 2 by 2 3/4" piece of Serene Scenic DSP was adhered upon which the other elements of this tag were built.
Using the Basket Bunch stamp set with its coordinating Basket Builder framelits/dies, were used to create the following:
  • Basket and handle
  • Flower on basket
  • 3 Easter bunnies
  • 3 different Easter eggs
  • Grass
These elements were arranged and adhered as shown. Both dimensionals and glue dots were used. Dazzling details was applied to the eggs and the flower on the basket.

The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White, the edges were sponged with Soft Suede ink, the ends notched and the entire piece added to the card front by the basket using glue dots.

On the side of the egg carton, another sentiment is attached.  The 3rd bunny is adhered next to the sentiment.
Supplies Used:
Stamp: Basket Bunch
Inks: Black Memento, SU Markers (Crumb Cake, Soft Suede), Old Olive
Papers: Very Vanilla, Scenic Scenery DSP, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral
Accessories: Basket Builder Framelits/dies, Scallop top tag punch, Dazzling details, 1/8" stitched Melon Mambo ribbon , dimensionals, glue dots
