Egg Carton for Open House

It's really a lot of fun (and maybe a little messy) to alter the new egg cartons featured in the Occasions Catalogue.

Egg Carton:
This egg carton was spritzed with a solution of rubbing alcohol and 15 drops of Daffodil Delight re-inker.  To get the colour I desired, I repeated this process twice.

After putting 4 chocolate eggs inside, I adhered a piece of Serene Designer Paper matted with Delightful Dijon card stock.  A new delicate paper doillie (white side up) was adhered on top of the DSP. A piece of  5/8"  striped Emerald Envy ribbon was wrapped around the egg carton and tied into a bow on the top.

Tag:
A 2 by 4" piece of Whisper White was punched with the Scalloped topper punch and the bottom corners rounded using the corner rounder punch.  The image of one of the chickens from the "Hey Chick" stamp set was stamped with black Memento ink and coloured with ink pads and a blender pen.  A strip of DSP was adhered to the bottom of this tag and the corners rounded as well.

The tag was attached to the egg carton by means of a 1/8" Emerald Envy ribbon which was tied to the bow on top of the carton.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Hey Chick
Inks: Black Memento, Bermuda Bay, Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight reinker
Papers: Whisper White, Delightful Dijon, Serene Scenes DSP stack
Accessories: Egg carton, Spritzer, Rubbing Alcohol, 5/8" striped Emerald Envy ribbon, 1/8" Emerald Envy ribbon, Blender pen, Delicate Doillie, scallop topper punch.

Here's another one I did - but this time for a birthday.  I used the "Happy Celebrations" stamp set on the top of the egg carton.

The egg carton was spritzed with Bermuda Bay in rubbing alcohol, decorated with Cupcakes and Carousels DSP and tied with gold metallic ribbon (SAB).
