Starburst Birthday Bliss

More snow over night!  One Christmas song I have not heard this year is "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" and I don't think I'm going to hear it.  We've had more snow this month than all of last winter.

Christmas is 3 days to go and I'm ready. The new Occasions catalogue and Sale-a-bration will be here in about 2 weeks, so get your wish list  made.  There are so many wonderful things in the catalogue it will be hard to choose.

The card and 3D item today is another sneak peak of what will be available for ordering starting Jan. 4.  It is a birthday card featuring "Birthday Bliss" and the die "Starburst Edgelit die"

I apologize for the colour of the picture.  The base card of Bermuda Bay just doesn't look like Bermuda Bay.
Some Cupcake and Carousel DSP was added in the lower half, and some gold metallic ribbon adhered at both top and bottom of this strip.  To do this I cut the ribbon in half.  The birthday sentiment, stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White is matted with gold foil. Before adhering it to the card front,  gold foil paper was die cut with the starburst edgelit die and adhered to the top or the sentiment piece.
When die cutting this decorative piece, some stars "burst" out and these were used to embellish the card front.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Birthday Bliss
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Papers: Bermuda Bay, Gold Foil, Cupcakes & Carousel DSP
Accessories: Starburst Edgelit die, 3/8" metallic ribbon (SAB)

This lovely Starburst Edgelit die can be used as a decorative item on top of a parcel.

This Kraft box was first wrapped with a strip of Party Animal DSP, with a contrasting strip of the same DSP on either side of that.
The starburst edgelit piece die cut in Calypso Coral card stock was adhered to the top so that the stars reached the sky.
Apiece of calypso coral card stock  was punched with the new Candle Border punch, backed with DSP and adhered to both front and back sides.

Accessories:
Papers: Party Animal DSP, Calypso Coral card stock
Accessories: Starburst edgelit die, Candle border punch
