My swaps for On-Stage

My downline and I attended an On-Stage event in Ottawa on Saturday,November 5 and we made a  weekend of it.  What an exciting time!!

I worked hard to get swap tags/cards ready for this event.   I made 23 tags, and 30 cards of 2 different designs. Below are the tags about which I received a lot of positive feedback.

The image of Father Christmas, stamped on Whisper White cardstock, was coloured with a blender pen and ink pads.  Then it was trimmed to a 2 by 4" piece and the top formed by the scallop top tag punch.  Some texture was added using the Timeless Texture stamp and Crumb Cake ink.  The tag was aged  by sponging the entire surface lightly with crumb cake, and sponging the edges with Soft Suede ink.  Then the tag was  embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and a strip of Red Glimmer paper applied to the bottom.

It was adhered to a Crumb Cake tag which was matted with a piece of Warmth & Cheer DSP.  A piece of Real Red ribbon was added to the top, wrapped by White with red glitter Baker's twine.

The flagged sentiment, from "Good Happenings" was attached at the top of the tag with a glue dot.

This card has a Real Red card base layered with Whisper White card stock.  On the left side is a 2" strip of DSP with some Real Red satin ribbon applied over the seam.

The image is from Baby Bear, and this image requires three step stamping using 3 colours.  The hat and scarf are from the Jolly Friends stamp set and are punched out using the Jolly Hat Builder Punch.
