These are great items for a craft show. Tea means a lot of things to a lot of people, and these holders are a neat 3D item made using the "A Nice Cuppa" with its coordinating framelits "Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies" It was also a great opportunity to use the "Have a Cuppa Embellishments" - such cute little tea pots, spoons, slices of lemon.
I've seen a lot of tea bag holders on Pinterest. There's such a wealth of information on Pinterest. The one I ended up making is a combination of several.
Cut a piece of DSP 10 by 3" and score at 4 1/4, 6 and 7" (Here I used Wisteria Wonder DSP)
Fold on score lines.
Using the Trio punch, the slot end, punch a hole in the center of one end. Insert about 15" of ribbon through this slot, around the holder, and before tying into a bow, insert 4 individually covered tea bags. It's easier to tie the bow once the tea bags are inside the holder.
The image of the tea cup was stamped with Wisteria Wonder; the sentiment in the center of the cup in Black Memento. The cup was then die cut and adhered to the tea holder front using dimensionals. A small embellishment was tied to the tea cup handle using linen thread.
On the back of the tea bag holder, I adhered a poem I saw on several of the holders on Pinterest.
I typed the poem using Word, printed it on cardstock, and punched it with the Decorative Label punch.
I made 12 of them tonight in the following colours: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, and Wisteria Wonder.
Supplies Used:
Stamp: A Nice Cuppa

Papers:Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Wisteria Wonder DSP
Accessories: Whisper White seam blinding, Trio corner punch, decorative label punch. dimensionals, individually wrapped tea bags.Have a Cuppa embellishments, Linen Thread, Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies
